Since 2019, we have donated over 11,000 books and helped create 15 bibliotecas

When we started, there were libraries at 2 of the 48 schools registered in the northern province of Imbabura, Ecuador. Through lots of donated books, long-time connections, and international support, we are working to grow that number one school at a time.

Bibliotecas para Imbabura is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to promoting literacy in rural Ecuador through assisting communities with building school libraries, providing academic materials, and supporting teachers in their professional development. It connects schools and local organizations with donors to build collections, house them, and maintain them for students and community members.
