In the height of the pandemic, it was difficult for our team to deliver books & visit communities. Not only was it important to keep everyone safe and healthy, but Ecuador also had very strict driving restrictions and was in and out of a lockdown situation for about a year.

However, when a friend reached out to us about supporting the Alejandro Larra school and community of Minas, we found a way to make it happen. We were able to (safely) collect food and clothing donations from supporters and delivered those items along with 700 books to be dropped off for these students and their families.
